Downloading the EUROMOBIL programmes

How fast should my Internet connection be to download the programme?

Dsl connection recommended and at lower speeds download manager will be help.

How long does it take to download the programme?

Download speed depends on your network connection speed, other network devices and network usage.

Downloading with modem will take forever.

Downloading larger programs with DSL can take few hours.

Why does my password not work?

- Carefully type the password using upper and lower case

- The problem might be your firewall à try from another computer

Where can I download EUROMOBIL programmes?

EUROMOBIL programmes can be downloaded at http://www.jyu.fi/euromobil/

How can I get a username and password for a EUROMOBIL programme?

Go to the following address http://www.jyu.fi/euromobil/ and choose the programme you wish to download from the list. Type your e-mail-address in the e-mail field and send the form. Your user name and password, downloading address and instructions will be sent to your e-mail address.

How can I download EUROMOBIL programmes?

When you have received the e-mail, click the address given.

Using Internet Explorer

After you have clicked the address a small window opens where you have to type your user name and password. Click yes button. A new window will open where you will be asked whether you want to open or save the file. You have to save the file on your computer. Choose the folder in which you want to save the zip-file. Saving the file will take some time depending on your Internet access. When your computer has downloaded the file please click close.

Using Mozilla Firefox

How do I extract the zip-file?

Using WinRAR

Open the WinRAR unpack programme. Click file/open archive. Find the zip-file and open it. Click Extract to. Choose where you wish to extract the zip-file. Click OK. When the programme has extracted the files exit the programme. Go to the folder where you have extracted the files. Click euromobil.exe and the programme starts.

Using PowerArchiever

Open the PowerArchiever unpack programme. Click open and find the zip-file and open it. Click extract. Choose where you wish to extract the zip-file or make a new folder. Make sure you have picked all the files. Click extract. When the programme has extracted all the files exit the programme. Go to the folder where you have extracted the files. Click euromobil.exe and the programme starts.
